Prices will vary for pastel portraits depending on the size, or more complicated backgrounds. Size of the actual portrait will range from 8″x10″ to 12″x16″ and priced from $500.00 to $750.00. The frame, (included) will increase the size by a few inches.

The portrait will be 100% guaranteed or you will not be obligated to buy it. The painting will be protected a with professional fixative, a quality frame, a mat and a non-glare glass, included in the price.

Pastel Portraits from Photos

In order to complete your custom pastel portrait, I will require high resolution pictures displaying clear facial features. This will allow me to reach the best visual effects. Low quality photos may be rejected. Once I receive your photo, I will prepare a sketch for your review before I begin to paint your pastel portrait. This will allow you to provide me with your feedback and remarks for further improvement or recommendations.

Once the pastel portrait is complete, you will still be able to make some small corrections. All of it is to give you tremendous satisfaction and pleasure when you see your portrait live for the first time.

Pastel portraits are drawn on special pastel paper of the finest quality. The finalized portrait is covered with an ultra-thin layer of a fixative to prevent smudging. This protective surface is transparent, and can also be touched up if needed. It will then be placed in a quality frame with a non-glare glass, which is included with the price.
